Don\u2019t waste your deposit!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Dont listen to hotel reviews on websites for white people<\/li>\n<li>Dont fall for hotel advertising on black bike week websites (Including this One)<\/li>\n<li>The best way to find a Black Bike Week hotel is to ask someone who has been to Black Bike Week<\/li>\n<li>Dont buy a hotel based on prices alone<\/li>\n<li>You can cancel your hotel if you want dont feel stuck<\/li>\n<li>Buying your hotel\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/hotel-deals\/\">online<\/a>\u00a0is the best choice<\/li>\n<li>Hotels might over book just in case people cancel at the last minute check your reservations<\/li>\n<li>Dont book a room at a hotels for white people &#8220;they will call the police&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>If you booking a room with Friends GET THE MONEY UP FRONT<\/li>\n<li>If you renting a private condo or house GET THE AGREEMENT IN WRITING<\/li>\n<li>Book your hotel through\u00a0<a id=\"itxthook0\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/05\/dont-book-a-hotel-for-black-bike-week-until-you-read-this\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\">businesses<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook0icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" \/><\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0<strong>support<\/strong>\u00a0Black Bike Week, not ones who just wants your money<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>1.\u00a0<\/strong>Don\u2019t listen to reviews on some Hotel websites. Their reviews are from white people during non Black Bike Week vacations ex: \u201cHoney moons, family reunions and shit\u201d. What\u2019s good for a 2 week summer vacation or a honeymoon might not be good for Black Bike Week. Just because a hotel has a ton of luxuries and shit doesn\u2019t make it a good hotel for Black Bike Week. Black Bike Week\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/myrtle-beach-hotels\/\">Hotels<\/a>\u00a0are all about\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/hotel-deals\/\">Location, Location, and Location<\/a><\/strong>, not extra bull shit in your room that you aint going to use.<\/p>\n<p><em>Repeat: don\u2019t let the luxuries fool you. A nice hotel in the wrong place is worthless.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0Don\u2019t listen hotel to advertisements on Google. Google gets paid to promote those hotels regardless of if they are good or not! Any whack ass hotel can advertise, then sell you a whack hotel ,\u00a0but charge you like its Hot!!. My first year we got our room through an advertisement, and the hotel cost 1600 for the\u00a0<a id=\"itxthook1\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/05\/dont-book-a-hotel-for-black-bike-week-until-you-read-this\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\">weekend<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook1icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" \/><\/a>, it was 15 miles from the strip \u201c2 hour in bike week traffic\u201d, and the hotel was full of white families.<br \/>\n<em>The best way to find a good hotel for Black Bike Week is to ask someone who has been to Black Bike Week before or to choose from the list below<\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/12\/Top-Ten-North-Myrtle-Beach-Hotes_for_Black_Bike_Week_2011\/index.html\">Best North Myrtle Hotels<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Or Shoot us an Email at\u00a0<a href=\"maito:Hotel@blackbikeweek.us\">Hotels@blackbikeweek.us<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Online Travel sites are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/reserve.blackbikeweek.us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">IHS Advantage &#8211; Myrtle Beach Hotels<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Stay away from knock off\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>travel sites claiming the cheapest price, rebates or free nights<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0<strong>and all that bullshit<\/strong>. Hotel ain\u2019t giving shit away during Memorial Day weekend \u201cway to much demand for hotels for them to be giving out discounts, and people are fighting for the best hotels, so hotel ain\u2019t competing for your business\u201d, Matter of Fact that Charging High as price. Well till May and you will see. You will book your hotel through one of these offers thinking you get this free night, then at check out you will find out that the fine print excluded Memorial Day, or that low rate only applied for the first night. \u201cIf something sounds to good to be true, IT NOT TRUE !!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Please Dont risk your Black Bike Week weekend on some untried ass hotel even if the price is dirt cheap<\/em><br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0<\/strong>Dont book at room at a\u00a0<strong><em>majority white or family oriented hotel<\/em><\/strong>, or condo. If youre staying at a white resort and having a loud\u00a0<a id=\"itxthook2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/05\/dont-book-a-hotel-for-black-bike-week-until-you-read-this\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\">party<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook2icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" \/><\/a>, staying out too late, or just having too much fun,\u00a0<strong>they will call police on yall ass!!!!<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Youve been warned<\/strong>. My first year I learned this the hard way, stay at a majority Black Party hotel!!!<br \/>\n<em>\u201cPlease make sure your hotel is recommended by someone who has been to Bike Week and make sure they know what they talking about.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong>\u00a0Don\u2019t\u00a0<a id=\"itxthook3\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/05\/dont-book-a-hotel-for-black-bike-week-until-you-read-this\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\">buy<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook3icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" \/><\/a>\u00a0a hotel based on price alone. It may be cheap up front, but when you factor in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cost of travel \u201cat bike week 10 minute = 1hour\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Gas<\/li>\n<li>Time spent trying to find a parking spot<\/li>\n<li>Travel time to and from the parties<\/li>\n<li>Cost of parking<\/li>\n<li>Security<\/li>\n<li>Chance of DUIs driving back to your room<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You could end up\u00a0<a id=\"itxthook4\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/05\/dont-book-a-hotel-for-black-bike-week-until-you-read-this\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\">saving<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook4icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" \/><\/a>\u00a0by paying a little extra by staying on the strip or closer to the action.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDon\u2019t be a cheap skate, remember:\u00a0You get what you pay for!\u00a0If you hotel cost less for the weekend then most hotels cost a night, you should already know why\u201d But if you want cheap anyway here is a\u00a0<\/em><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/12\/Affordable-Hotels-For-Black-Bike-Week-2011\/index.html\">list of the cheapest hotels<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong>\u00a0You can cancel your booking at any Hotel up to 14 Days prior to your stay. Dont feel like youre trapped in a hotel if you already booked a book. Most Hotels will only charged you small non refundable service fee usually less then 20 bucks. So you if find another spot thats jumping, switch it up!<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong>\u00a0Buy your\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/links\/North-Myrtle-Beach\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">hotel online<\/a>. When you call a hotel their\u00a0<a id=\"itxthook5\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/05\/dont-book-a-hotel-for-black-bike-week-until-you-read-this\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\">prices<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook5icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" \/><\/a>\u00a0are at their maximum, if you arrive in person their prices are whatever you can afford. When you book online hotels usually offer a little cheaper prices due to the amount of online competition.<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8.<\/strong>\u00a0If your hotel sucked, hop online and leave a bad ass review why hotels treat online reservation a little bit better. If you hotel was tight, leave a good review.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.<\/strong>\u00a0If you know a good hotel, but its booked up, check back here, someone may have cancel and a room might be available, and i do my best to highlight last minute room &#8220;Last Minute Love&#8221;<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8.<\/strong>\u00a0No hotel should force you to pay the balance in full upfront; you should only have to pay a deposit to reserve your room, and then\u00a0pay the balance at check in, and No hotel should prevent you from canceling \u201cminus a non refundable service fee\u201d<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>9.<\/strong>\u00a0No hotel should force you to stay longer then you want. If a hotel says they only allows weekly booking during black bike week, choose another hotel \u201cunless you plan to stay for a week\u201d<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10.<\/strong>\u00a0No hotel should make you sign some crazy list of rules while your staying, or force you to pay any type of room damage deposit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>15<\/strong>. If you renting a unit or house from a private party, get the agreement signed and faxed to you. Someone might call the\u00a0<a id=\"itxthook6\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blackbikeweek.us\/2010\/05\/dont-book-a-hotel-for-black-bike-week-until-you-read-this\/#\" rel=\"nofollow\">rental<img decoding=\"async\" id=\"itxthook6icon\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/images.intellitxt.com\/ast\/adTypes\/icon1.png\" \/><\/a>\/house owner at the last minute and offer them way more money. Then the owner comes back to you with some excess about how they can\u2019t rent the unit any more. Then you ride by and find people renting it LOL. Seen this shit before\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>11<\/strong>. If your going in on a Hotel with Friends\u00a0<strong>Get the damn money upfront<\/strong>.\u00a0No short\u2019s, No Layaway. If they aint got the money, find a cheaper hotel you can afford.
