Black Bike Week traffic is up 30%.
The Traffic on the internet focused around the Black Bike Week Event held in the Myrtle Beach Area is up over 30% compared to traffic during the the same period in 2009.
"The number of Google searches for Black Bike Week are almost doubled compared to normal, and there is an increase in search traffic on other search engines like Yahoo and Bing. The number of groups, and pages on Facebook centered around Black Bike Week has doubled since Last may" Clarence Middleton owner of a black bike week website.
The news about the Supreme Court Helmet ruling spread around the Biker community on facebook, websites, groups, forums, and through email.
Some are calling this the rebirth of Black Bike Week, and some are refusing to ever go to the area again.
But, the traffic is showing that there is an increase in interest in the event.
How will this traffic predict the turn out for 2011 is uncertain.
Time will have to tell.
